I know this blog has become a place for the pouties lately, and I apologize.

So, here’s some good stuff:

I got hired for that second job that I interviewed for. And I was so sure I wasn’t going to get it and it’s going to look fucking amazing on my résumé so huzzah. Both that and the other one are fairly low time commitments so I’m keeping both for now. So mama’s got this and she is GAINFULLY EMPLOYED.
I’m going to a party tonight with my cohort, who I really like thus far. They’re really cool people.
I’m starting to get to a place where I can write about all the sexy stuff I did with Sir while he moved me in and actually be sexy about it. So keep on the lookout.

So, I got told by an anonymous asker that I was a “lying cunt spewing bullshit” in reference to my opinion of the verdict last night. I will not share the ask, I’m doing too much to dignify it already by acknowledging it, but it’s full of self-assuring paranoid descriptions of basically why no young black man should be trusted and (as you can see) a completely unoriginal way to discredit me: essentially calling me a dishonest vagina. So let’s establish this now: If you have a problem with my politics, unfollow me. No one is forcing you to read this blog.
I also woke up to find a lot of cute, nice things in my inbox that completely outnumbered the ridiculous message so hurray.
I’m seeing Craftsmate today and even though we probably won’t be able to get enough privacy to have some sexy times, we have a fun day planned.
This made me laugh.
I have been squirming and fantasizing about this since I saw it. So consider that a strong hint to whoever wants to take it.

Thanks for putting up with this for six months, babe.

Sometimes it means this.

And sometimes it means getting high, making hash browns and marathoning Game of Thrones.

Today, it’s the latter.

So, I got my thesis back today and got a really great grade.

Of course this was ruined by one of my readers including misogynist comments in my crit and feeling the need to mansplain something I had researched for months that he “just had a hunch” about.

Nonetheless, a high grade and low expectations for the old boys club which is my department both “satisfied,” so to speak.

For a certain bunny I know who reassures me that people are dumb and we’re awesome.

Happy Valentine’s Day from your grumpy cat.

Just wanted to send out a thank you for all the love the picture of my tail got.

Because it received, for me, an obscene amount of notes like woah.

It took a lot of courage for me to post it and the validation of all the positive feedback I got, from likes to messages, was so encouraging in my journey of accepting the stuff I’m into/not thinking I am a total and complete weirdo.

So, thanks so much. You’re all wonderful.
