I once complained about how my whole life has basically existed in one two hour radius prior to moving.

Which makes me sad when I’m not there.

But is lovely when I come home.

I had some really cool plans set up for the beginning of October, but I recently decided to back out of them because of some of the demands of my schedule.

Which sucks, because I really wanted to spend time with a certain special person and I’ve got some severe fomo about the whole thing.

And while I know it’s probably a good decision in the long-run and (hopefully) a rain-check is possible, I hate when I’ve gotten all excited about something (I was counting down the days) only to have it not pan out.

I know this blog has become a place for the pouties lately, and I apologize.

So, here’s some good stuff:

  • I got hired for that second job that I interviewed for. And I was so sure I wasn’t going to get it and it’s going to look fucking amazing on my résumé so huzzah. Both that and the other one are fairly low time commitments so I’m keeping both for now. So mama’s got this and she is GAINFULLY EMPLOYED.
  • I’m going to a party tonight with my cohort, who I really like thus far. They’re really cool people.
  • I’m starting to get to a place where I can write about all the sexy stuff I did with Sir while he moved me in and actually be sexy about it. So keep on the lookout.

I find strands of my girl’s hair when I unpack my blankets from storage, little golden threads against the navy fleece, hidden from the sunlight for months. It makes me miss the way our bodies fit together so perfectly when we spoon.
