The venue where the play party was supposed to be last night fell through, and Sir and I got the notification that the party was cancelled halfway through getting dressed.

This was kind of a blessing. I had never met this partner before and I was a bit nervous about being thrown into a situation where we’d be semi-naked and surrounded by people fucking a little bit after meeting. I suggested we all just have a nice evening here, and we did.

Oh, and Sir and I totally co-dommed her. So that’s a story I need to tell once I have you all caught up.

Tonight I’m thinking about people I’m grateful for. 

One of those in particular is herdirtylittleheart, who has been the best Femme Daddyish, poly buddyish human being lately. We’ve both been extending ourselves in brave and risky and scary ways with ethical non-monogamy/polyamory, and I really don’t know how I’d be able to handle half the stuff that’s been going on.

The app includes a social network for sharing experiences, shielded from judgy outsiders.

This doesn’t seem like something I’d need/use personally, but I think it’s a great idea!  Depending on how good the app itself is, of course.  Apparently the calendar function isn’t really an improvement over Google Calendar, but I like the idea of the other features, like sharing events and texts with some/all of your partners, and creating lists of rules/boundaries (or not) with partners.

Well, hey.
