Lately, I’ve fallen a bit slack on actually being proactive about defending and defining women’s rights.
I’m taking steps now to remedy this situation. And, I don’t care if this isn’t a sex post. If you care about my sex life, then you’re going to have to care about everything that influences it, a lot of which is listed right here in this photograph.
My girl A’s boyfriend is an international student here from one of “those” countries. He’s very progressive, despite having spent his whole life in a very conservative area. But, that’s apparently not as uncommon as the media makes it out to be.
He’s apparently been getting a lot of crap for dating A. She’s American. She’s biracial, but not of his race on either side. She’s in no way slutty, but the fact that the two of them want to hold hands in public, here in America, has really upset some of his more conservative friends who go to school here.
So I give him a ton of props for staying in a relationship with her. Sure, she’s gorgeous and funny and awesome. But the fact that he has to handle so much bullshit about it really proves to me that he’s a keeper. And I’m very, very proud to call him one of my best friends.
Fuck yeah revolution.
