Is it odd that outfits like this make me wish I was a girl?

Nope. Being a girl is actually pretty fucking awesome.

I has a need.

Hey. Hey. You don’t have to be a girl to wear outfits like these!

Okay, maybe I’m stretching it here, but bear with me.

Sometimes, my friends drag me to Zumba with them. Sure, whatever, it’s fun. But, gosh, guys, have you ever listened to the music? There was a song that they played that basically was talking about how this performer’s girlfriend has a big ass and someone’s else’s girlfriend has a small ass.

I’d say about 99% of the people I see at these classes are women. Why, in a class teaching women to exercise and empower themselves through fitness, is a song being played that breeds competitiveness among women based on looks and worth based upon the opinion of men of their bodies?

Not to mention another fitness thing I go to plays a ton of music about scorned women, about breakups, about being loved and appreciated. It seems that fitness seems to go hand-in-hand not with being happy with being healthy but becomingdesirable to the opposite sex and being more attractive than other members of your sex.

So, I don’t know, guys, is being a little miffed okay? Or am I just going overboard?
