Aww, nah. It’s just cheesy. 

We’d already sort of transitioned from secret play partners to publicly sort of dating/hooking up. Both of us were kind of being evasive and weird about defining the relationship. 

So, it was right around the holidays and we were out on a date.  It was the end of the night and we were waiting for a train and he turned to me and was like, “I’m sorry, this is stupid, do you want to be my girlfriend?”
