I feel like whenever women complain about men, they speak about things that men have done to them.
However when men complain about women, they speak about things that women HAVEN’T done FOR them.
I think that’s an important distinction.
male cashier: you’re too pretty to be wearing all that eye makeup.
me: you’re too irrelevant to be commenting on my appearance.

the fact that some of you people can’t distinguish between a compliment and a criticism blunted with a weak compliment blows my fucking mind
misogyny has them thinking whenever a man says pretty, you should be thankful.
DATING TIP: Hold the door for your date. Rip the door off its hinges. Use the door as a weapon to fight off other men. Establish dominance.

It tells me he doesn’t understand; I’m not a belonging.
