Another innovative #AfroBrazilian female rap group is Ladies Gang, formed by five young women of Rio de Janeiro. All of the members specialize in some dance category such as #BreakDance, #Ragga, #Krump and #HipHop.
The girls’ intention is to be much more than a rap group, but a movement, which already has social and cultural work in the #Manguinhos community in Rio de Janeiro. They have been influencing and motivating young people of their communities, that starts in their way of dressing to their posture and also behavior.
All girls who act as community leaders in Manguinhos.
