Foucault once wrote that mere observation is power, and few things reinforce a sense of inferiority better than the complete abolition of personal privacy. Inspections are just that—arbitrary, random violations of the most intimate body parts for no good reason other than to convey the idea that property may be reviewed at any time at the whim of its owner. Sometimes, inspections gather useful information as well, such as determining the wetness or sensitivity of a cunt, or the thoroughness of an enema.
