there are so many black/brown people speaking out about injustices in their communities but white liberals will just straight up not listen or care at all until jon stewart does a segment on it and then suddenly it’s “wow i can’t believe this is still happening in 2015”
like sorry but if you refuse to listen to people’s personal accounts of the racism they face unless it’s filtered through a white person first then guess what! you’re racist
