In reality, Katherine simply used the unlabeled bathroom at Langley and when confronted about it, she simply ignored them racists ass and continued on her merry way.
Don’t let Hollywood’s romanticized trope of the white man savior sensitize your perception to the truth and erase the real stories and struggles of Katherine Johnson and all the other colored people had to go through during that time.
