friendly reminder that disabled existence isn’t always a performance for able bodied people
too often i’ve seen genuine moments of emotion from disabled people undercut with the inevitable “they’re so cute/inspiring!!! :)))” and moments of disabled eroticism interpreted humorously or bulldozed by discussion of how any able bodied person must be a saint to sleep with them. even worse, i’ve repeatedly watched people intentionally gaslight disabled folks to exacerbate their tics because they find their reaction adorable or funny.
disabled people are not pets, accessories, or sidekicks.
sometimes guys ask me to do wheelies. i do a single-handed one and flip them off with the other.
dont ask me for relationship advice because i will always just tell you to break up w/ them and throw their shit in a dumpster because i do not understand the concept of allowing anyone to treat you poorly this is a zero tolerance zone
