Why is no one disgusted by pet names other than Daddy? Nobody is saying someone who calls their partner Kitten wants to fuck a cat. I have a friend who calls his man “Bear,” but I very much doubt he would solicit an actual bear for intercourse. “Baby” represents sweetness and innocence, “Bunny” is about cuteness. And “Daddy” is about feeling protected. It’s not that literal, please relax.
Friendly reminder to check your breasts while you’re just sitting there scrolling the internet, then reblog so your followers do the same. Two people I know were just diagnosed within the same week.
these are the things that need spread. not fucking ribbons and the words “breast cancer awareness.” we know it exists. just knowing it exists isn’t going to help much.
Check your breasts or pecs. Early detection is key to survival.
When you saw “The Hunger Games,” who did you root for? Katniss and her beleaguered community? Or people in the Capitol wearing pink eyelashes and obliviously eating until they vomited while the people in other districts starved?
Ok, next question: When you saw the protests in Baltimore, who did you feel for? Because if what you did was look down on the protestors for disturbing the peace, break out the rainbow wigs and sparkle mascara because you might be from the Capitol.
White folks can empathize with fictional white people but the minute they are faced with actual dystopian shit happening to people of color, they do not care.
This country has never stopped seeing Black people as property to exploit. We are not human. We are not people. We are the permanent racial underclass. And as such it angers those who want to keep the status quo intact.
life is tough when you’re a lazy perfectionist who simultaneously doesn’t give a shit about anything but at the same time cares too much about everything u feel

watching Cutthroat kitchen and two black chefs in the finale, Alton says they have to cook pumpkin pie.
one of the chefs say, “Black people don’t eat pumpkin pie!”
they start cooking and the other chef asks the other, “have you ever had pumpkin pie?”
yall this is the funniest thing to me right now. I don’t even care.
LOLOL!!!
Never had it either.
It is gross and very stringy.
that’s what sweet potato is for!!!!
I’ve eaten pumpkin pie once. I thought it was sweet potato pie and was sorely disappointed
hahaha I’ve just always thought pumpkin pie was for white people while sweet potato pie was for black people because all of my white friends have pumpkin pies for Thanksgiving/the holidays, never sweet potato, while all my black friends and family all have sweet potato pies for Thanksgiving/the holidays, never pumpkin.
