I feel that way too sometimes…..

i wish i could write a long ass love letter to the “fast” girls i grew up with. we be leaving them out of a lot of our black feminist/womanist conversations. like there is a very complex intersection and dialogue btwn cultural grooming, trauma, sexualization, freedom and pleasure that i feel gets missed in our conversations about black girlhood/hip hop feminism.
