i just googled jessica williams to look at her wikipedia page but instead i discovered that there have been over 2,500 articles written TODAY arguing that she should host the daily show… nice
I find this ridiculous. The new host should be someone whose qualified. Regardless of gender. If it’s a female comic that’s great. If it’s a male comic that’s great. But whoever it is should matter on how they fit the role.
it’s so interesting how literally none of the articles in that screenshot and no part of my caption actually mentioned jessica williams’ gender, and all of the articles are, in fact, about how she is extremely qualified for the job, but you literally feel so threatened by the mere existence of a successful woman that you peed your pants all over my post. i love it.
