And 13 years later23 years ago, that was a joke. But it was a joke that played really different to two different people who saw it. Because I’ll be honest, 11 year-old me read it totally different than I do now.
Privilege is thinking this joke is about Jazz’s paranoia, and not the relationship between police and African Americans.
