“Daddy, I think you’re lying. I don’t see your friend’s earring anywhere.”

“Keep looking, sweetheart. We’ll just be waiting right over here.”

There’s something about the word bitch.

Slut, whore, words like that, they all tend to have a lot more accountability. A lot more agency. They seem to be a direct result of the things you choose to do and you sort of own them. My reactions to being called these words during play usually have a degree of smugness to them. It’s an accusation of being the sort of person who enjoys this stuff. And I’m confirming it.

But, bitch, I don’t know. It’s rougher. It screams ownership, subjugation. It reduces you to something animal-like, primal, something that relies on just instinct and physical cues. Simpler thoughts and more visceral reactions usually accompany being called this or having to call myself this.

I guess I should clarify that I kind of love/hate/love the word bitch.

Sometimes, I just want a girlpet all to myself to care for and play around with and be sweet to. And to be a little mean to sometimes, too.

I have this teensy tiny streak of dominant energy. I’m nowhere near considering myself a switch, but sometimes I just want to grab a fistful of some sweet pretty girl’s hair and have some fun for a little bit.

I think I’m entitled.

Dear Mr. Grey,

While I understand my placement on academic probation does not put me in particularly good graces with the administration of the Grey Academy, I do have a few concerns about my pairing with Heart in your new mentoring program.

While I do find her to be a fine role model, her reputation does seem proceed her and she certainly lives up to it, perhaps even exceeds it. Moreover, although I am truly grateful for this opportunity, I do find her methods to be, to say the least, a bit unorthodox.

Thank you for your time and attention.

Sincerely,

Ivy

See, here’s the thing a lot of people don’t get about BDSM. Despite the fact that there is a lot of pain involved, although there are tears and bruises that come about, and in spite of the fact that general mainstream portrayal of the lifestyle usually leans toward showing it as either a casual/paid encounter involving a lot of leather or something couples try when they’re fresh out of ideas, there is a lot of comfort, love, and happiness that people derive from exploring this sort of dynamic.

Awwwwwwwwww! Look at her face. 🙂 She’s so happy to have her own little place in the world to feel safe in.

Reminds me of a series of books I used to read as a kid. Not the picture itself, but the feeling. There was this line: The world is quiet here.

For some reason, I want him to place his foot on her back and push her down to the water, even though I have no idea what she’s doing.
