The Rethink Homelessness campaign aims to dispel stereotypes and remind us that the circumstances which lead to living on the streets could happen to each and every one of us.
Because a lot of people—mainly motherfuckers who don’t really understand struggle—think all homeless people are alcoholic drug addicts…especially Black homeless people.
Homeless people aren’t only worth something if they have accomplished something you deem appropriate. Homeless people who are drug addicts who do not have a degree and did not have a job still deserve help and empathy.
